Thai Bamboo’s East Valley store is located at 12722 E. Sprague Ave in Spokane Valley. It is the original Thai Bamboo Restaurant and it opened in 2001. Tom and Matavee Burgess decided to open the restaurant because Spokane needed more diversity in cuisine, especially in Asian fare. Matavee was born in Thailand and is a wonderful cook and together they saw an opportunity to bring culture and delicious Thai food to the Spokane area.

Thai Bamboo East Valley has a capacity of 49 people. The quaint dining room has décor imported from Thailand including an antique, hand-carved wood bench. The patio has tall bamboo foliage that adds shade and ambience along with a fence with custom iron work which makes the patio feel comfortable and secluded.
